   THE
STORY GOES...
The
Lodge in Cloudcroft, New Mexico has been selected to host
the international conference of Para-psychology/Normal
practitioners from around the world. A very select
committee of the membership of the International Order of
S.P.O.O.Ks has assembled at The Lodge to discuss various
ways to combat the ridicule and derision directed towards
members of S.P.O.O.Ks. They have also gathered to present
the very latest in their attempts to communicate with the
“netherworld” and combat the onslaught of
negative publicity.
Each member of S.P.O.O.Ks is an
expert in some form of other world communication. At the
conference, the attendees will be demonstrating
anc explaining their particular form of the occult. Among
the many disciplines of predicting the future and
communicating with the dead are: ESP, telekinesis, crystal
ball gazing, Tarot Card reading, palm reading, phrenology,
tea leaves reading, seances, and channeling.
As with
most professional associations, there is quite a bit
ofjealousy among the members. In the past, each individual
has come under fire from the media and other so-called
legitimate members of the AMA and the American Psychiatric
Society. In fact, one of the members of 10 has taken it
upon himself to try and expose any fraudulent claims made by
his fellow members of the JO. As can be well imagined, The
Awesome Randy was nol well liked by his associates.
Randy
was so not liked, that he was found dead in his
room.

The
investigation, so far....
After
meetings all day in the Crystal Room at The Lodge, SPOOK
members decided to take a well deserved break and have dinner
at Rebecca’s Dinning Room. All members agreed to meet
at 7:00 p.m. for cocktails and then eat at 8:00 p.m. At
around 7:45 p.m. the group noticed that The Awesome Randy
(nee; Randy Fellow) was not present. A quick call from the
lobby phone to his room went unanswered. Calvin Comatose went
to Randy’s room to investigate. After insistent
knocking and banging on the door, Comatose returned to the
front desk and asked for a security guard to go to the room
and check it out. Lodge security employee, Phinias
Fortenbras, went to Randy’s room, number 413, and used
his pass key to open the door. Upon entry, Fortenbras found
The Awesome Randy on his bed in what appeared to be a deep
sleep. However, when Fortenbras attempted to wake The Amazing
Randy, he quickly discovered that he was dead. There were no
signs of a struggle or fight and the room was neat and
orderly. Fortenbras suspected no foul-play and suspected a
heart attack. Fortenbras called the local police department
and upon arrival of Sheriff Hans Zupp the room was secured
and the County Medical Examiner, Dr Sylvester Slicem, was
summoned. Because the death was unwitnessed Dr. Slicem
ordered a full investigation into the cause of death. It
continues.
